Priory Hall can cater for large and small civil ceremonies

Priory Hall caters for both large and small civil ceremonies. The ballroom accommodates up to 120 guests. Smaller civil ceremonies use the large reception room for a maximum of 15 people.

Your wedding guests can use the grounds to the full with a special dining area overlooking the lawns and lake, catering for up to 150 people. Various sizes of round tables and lelegant limewashed, cream seated chairs are available in the marquee, with wooden chairs for the ceremony in the hall. With garden lights and outdoor furniture, Priory Hall offers huge flexibility.

Your evening party will be in the hall, which is licensed for music and alcohol sales until 11.30pm. Throughout the day and evening the grounds can be used for anything from reception drinks to al fresco dining and open-air speeches. It's really up to you. And we don't charge corkage if you want to bring in your own wine (though caterers might) and since Priory Hall has a premises liquour licence, you can have a cash bar in the evening. We don't charge any of our suppliers a commission, so they've nothing to pass onto you.

There are cloakrooms attached to the hall and adjacent to the dining marquee. All areas are accessible to wheelchairs, though specific disabled facilities have to be hired in.

Extensive car parking is available on site and cars can be left overnight and collected by 10.30 the following day.

The only thing we require is that whatever is brought in has to be removed - all bottles, cans and rubbish have to be taken off site, a job often done by your suppliers.

What you might find helpful at Priory Hall is that we allow you access from 1pm the day before your wedding day and the morning after, provided there is no event on these days.
