The costs

Our season runs from the beginning of April until the end of October. The full high season cost of exclusive hire of the Priory Hall complex is £3,900. Discounts are available for midweek (Monday to Thursday) and some short notice dates.

The fee includes the licensed hall, grounds and dining marquee for up to 150 people, with tables, chairs, marquee cloakrooms, overnight parking in the large car park, catering marquee (though not the equipment) and outdoor furniture. This includes use of the lawn pavilion and lighting throughout the gardens. We do not charge corkage and we do not charge commissions from any suppliers.

The booking fee is not subject to VAT. The only extra is the fee for the booking agency, Country House Wedding Venues, which is split between Priory Hall and the bride and groom..

We have a list of recommended suppliers to help you choose caterers, photographers etc, though you are free to choose your own. Priory Hall is licensed for the sale of alcohol, so you can bring in a cash bar, though both the liquour licence and music licence end at 11.30pm, so music must stop then and alcohol can be finished but not served after that time. All we require is that you or your suppliers remove all bottles, cans etc and rubbish after your party.
