The costs

Our season runs from April until the end of October. The full high season cost of exclusive hire of the Priory Hall wedding venue  is £3,900. Discounts are available for midweek (Monday to Thursday) and some short notice dates.

The fee includes the licensed hall, grounds and dining marquee for up to 150 people, with tables, chairs, marquee cloakrooms, overnight parking in the large car park, catering marquee (though not the equipment) and outdoor furniture. This includes use of the lawn pavilion and lighting throughout the gardens and uplighters in the marquee. We do not charge corkage and we do not charge commissions from any suppliers.

The booking fee is not subject to VAT and is split into half on booking and half two months before the wedding date. 

We have a list of recommended suppliers to help you choose caterers, photographers etc, though you can choose your own. Priory Hall is licensed for the sale of alcohol, and we can organise a cash bar from a local pub.  Both the liquour licence and music licence end at 11.30pm and we suggest carriages at midnight, so though music must stop  and alcohol sales stop at 11.30 there is plenty of drink up time. All we require is that you or your suppliers remove all bottles, cans etc and rubbish after your party.
